Meet Kelly Garvey

Kelly is a compassionate, intuitive coach with experience working with kids, teens and adults. Her motto, since her early 20’s, “Making a Difference One at a Time” is based on The Starfish Story by Loren Eiseley. As a certified Life Coach for Kids and Adults, Kelly utilizes experiential activities, games and discussions to guide tweens/teens during the coaching process.

With a background in Elementary Education, Corporate Management & Training along with Massage Therapy, Kelly has a variety of experiences in social and emotional learning as well as the mind/body/spirit connection.

During her teenage years, Kelly looked externally for validation. She was a people pleaser. She performed well at school and extracurricular activities knowing that was expected. Playing sports was the one thing she did for herself that fueled her self-confidence.

When Kelly’s college volleyball days were over she felt lost and depressed - her identity was gone. She experienced the “not enough” feeling even with the excitement of an out-of-state teaching contract. Kelly relied on her confidence mask to carry her through most of her life. Or what some refer to “fake it ’til you make it”!

Kelly’s own personal development and healing journey has brought her full circle - back to working with kids with a focus on tween/teen girls. She is passionate about providing girls with a toolkit to guide them through life.

Kelly’s ultimate wish is for HER girls is to be able to say “I LIKE (NAME)”, as well as feel it and believe it!  And a whole lot earlier in life than she was able to do so.

Kelly is proud that she can confidently say,

Kelly Garvey

What is Life Coaching?

SImply stated, life coaching is about helping people reach their fullest potential.

Meeting people where they are at currently at and guiding them where they want to be.

How can life coaching help your daughter?

Life coaching for teens helps build emotional resilience, build self-esteem and increase confidence. Teens are experiencing more and more anxiety and depresssion and with the tools I teach in fun positive ways, they can find ways to handle these emotions so that they can enjoy these years.

What kind of commitment do I need to make?

Every client signs a commitment contract. The terms of the commitment contract will fit your individual goals and plans.

How do we get started?

The first step is to schedule an introductory session.

In that session, we will get an idea of how we'll work together and what our next steps should be from there.
